A word on charitable bequest and community benefit organizations

 Tuesday, December 08, 2009

Dan DeSantis

Charitable bequest gifts make the work of many Central Valley community benefit organizations possible! A charitable bequest is simply a gift from your estate to the Fresno Regional Foundation through your last will and testament. In October, we awarded $601,043 to twenty-six organizations who provide much needed services and programs in our community. The source of the award money included bequest gifts donated to us many years ago!

Whether your philanthropic intentions are to support a specific organization, a field-of-interest, or the most urgent needs in the Central Valley, designating a gift in your will to the Fresno Regional Foundation is the best way to ensure a long-lasting positive impact on the Central Valley that stays true to your charitable intent forever.

I invite you to give me a call to discuss your philanthropic goals and how to accomplish those goals through your estate planning. By working with you and your professional advisor, we can put your family’s legacy in motion in order to benefit the Central Valley for future generations.

Very truly yours,

Daniel DeSantis
CEO
