Fresno Regional Foundation to grant $500,000 for Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Human Services

Fresno Regional Foundation to grant $500,000 for

Teen Pregnancy Prevention and Human Services

Fresno, CA- Fresno Regional Foundation (FRF) announced the opening of its Human Services and Teen Pregnancy Prevention competitive grant cycles. In 2013, FRF will grant approximately $380,000 for Teen Pregnancy Prevention and $120,000 for capacity building for organizations serving children 0-8. Capacity building grants will focus on board governance, leadership development, and/or fiscal management.

Organizations serving Fresno, Tulare, Madera, Kings, Merced and Mariposa counties are encouraged to attend a Grants Information Session to learn more about these grant opportunities.

The Foundation’s in-person Grants Information Session will be held on Monday, May 20 from 11 a.m. to noon at the Woodward Park Library at 944 E Perrin Ave, Fresno, CA 93720. A Grants Information webinar will also be offered on Tuesday, May 21 from 11 a.m. to noon. To sign up for an information session, please visit www.fresnoregfoundation.org and click on Grantmaking.

For the 2013 Human Services grant cycle, FRF is piloting a Letter of Interest (LOI) process before invitation to submit a full proposal. All interested applicants must submit a two-page LOI by Wednesday, May 29 at 5 p.m. This process is being used to save organizations time and resources in applying for funds from the Foundation.
