Nuevo Comienzo - New Beginnings for Cutler/Orosi Teens
The communities of Cutler and Orosi have some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in the country. A grant from FRF supports the Healthy Decisions program focused on Latina youth to reduce teen pregnancies and empower the girls to become community educators and peer-mentors. Community forums will offer parents and extended family the opportunity to support their youth using effective inter-generational communication.
