Madera Rescue Mission

Located in downtown Madera, the Madera Rescue Mission provides safe shelter, food, and clothing to vulnerable people battling addictions and homelessness.  In 2010, a grant from a Donor Advised Fund helped the Mission serve 77,498 meals and provide shelter to 21,000 single men and 9,204 women and children. The Mission also provides a 9-month program for men and 13-month program for women.

Jack, once a successful attorney, turned to the Mission for help when his addiction rendered him unable to seek help anywhere else. Jack completed the men's program on January 29, 2011, and now seeks employment in the Madera area.
