Give to Haiti

How and Where to Donate to Haiti (and Avoid Scams) - Haiti - Lifehacker

You've probably seen a lot of news, emails, tweets, and other messages about how you can help Haiti in the relief efforts from its devastating earthquake. At the Fresno Regional Foundation, we are providing information to our donors about ways in which they can help give to Haiti. Below are a few organizations that we are recommending.

Giving Help

The American Red Cross is one of the most widely known organizations working in Haiti. They accept online donations, help volunteers arrange to give time or other support, and can accept $10 donations, charged to your cellphone bill, by texting HAITI to 90999.

Doctors Without Borders has set up sites for their Haiti efforts and many Fresno Regional Foundation Donors have risen to support their relief efforts in Haiti.

Catholic Relief services is yet another organization working in the relief efforts in Haiti that we have helped support with the donations from the donors from the Central Valley.

For a more comprehensive list of organization that you can donate to, please visit  the list created by  The San Francisco Chronicle, NPR News, and CBS News.
