Fresno Regional Foundation Offers $410,000 in Human Services Grants

Fresno, CA – The Fresno Regional Foundation is accepting applications for its 2010 Human Services Grant Cycle.  The Foundation will fund capacity-building strategies that focus on board governance, leadership development, or fiscal management. 

Of the $410,000 available during the Human Services grant cycle, $110,000 has been earmarked for Human Services and $300,000 specifically for Teen Pregnancy Prevention.

At present, some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy in California are in the Central San Joaquin Valley. Organizations working to reduce teen pregnancy through health services, advocacy, education, or other youth development initiatives are encouraged to apply. The Foundation will award three $100,000 two-year Teen Pregnancy Prevention grants ($50,000 per year).   This grant is intended for organizations working in Fresno, Tulare, Madera, Merced and Kings Counties.

To be considered, Applicants must submit an Organization Profile Form online by July 1, 2010 and an Application by July 08, 2010.
