Empowering Thousands of Tulare County Youth
In an effort to reach thousands of at-risk Tulare County teenagers, the Boys & Girls Club is collaborating with ACT for Women and Girls and Planned Parenthood Mar Monte to join reduce teen pregnancies in areas with the highest rates. FRF’s grant for the Raising Expectations Project provides the full-spectrum of information including parents’ roles in communicating with their youth, male involvement opportunities, and development of teen leadership skills for peer-education outreach. The ultimate outcome is for Tulare County to empower their youth to live their lives to the fullest.
