Grantmaking

The Fresno Regional Foundation has developed a Grantmaking program intended to be broad-based, fair, transparent, and one that enhances our responsiveness to community needs. We are committed to fully utilizing our endowed and discretionary assets in addition to field of interest funds and funds with donor imposed restrictions. TheFoundation’s 2009 competitive grants program is funded by local donors andprivate foundations who have contributed to the Foundation’s field of interest orundesignated funds.

This year’s Grantmakingprogram is made possible through the generous support of:

  • The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation
  • The James Irvine Foundation
  • Arts to Zoo Fund
  • Arts and Cultural Advancement Fund
  • Youth Advancement Fund
  • Fresno Regional Foundation Board Members
  • Private and Anonymous Donors

Support vibrant community life

Fresno Regional Foundation provides grant support in many areas of community life. Our grantmaking programs focus on three main areas that honor the charitable interests of our donors and address the needs of the Central Valley. We also administer scholarships.
