Fighting Hunger
In response to an immediate need at the Community Food Bank in November 2007, Dan DeSantis hands a $10,000 check to Dana Wilkie, executive director of the Community Food Bank. Dana had previously had to cancel orders for chickens to be delivered for the Thanksgiving meals, but this gift allowed her to call the vendors and ask them to proceed with shipping the orders. This $10,000 gift was made possible by the Foundation's Fund for the Common Good.
